According to the report, that works out to roughly five new TikTok posts using the song every minute since its release.
ANIMAL is also gaining momentum on Instagram, where the audio reached No. 20 on the platform’s trending Reels audio chart.
Part of the song’s short-form appeal comes from its choreography. Member Riwoo participated in creating the dance, which includes movements inspired by animals to match the song’s title and energetic concept.

Several fellow artists have already joined the ANIMAL challenge, including ENHYPEN’s Sunoo, TWS members Jihoon and Kyungmin, EVNNE, &TEAM’s Harua, and choreographer Kany.
The song’s dance practice video, released on YouTube on September 30, has also drawn attention for its large-scale formations and controlled movements during the chorus.
Beyond short-form platforms, ANIMAL has begun appearing on international music charts. The track ranked No. 11 on LINE MUSIC Japan’s Song Top 100 and No. 10 on its New Song Top 100 chart dated September 30.
As of October 1, the song had also entered iTunes Top Songs charts in eight countries and regions, while HOME: DELUXE appeared on popular album charts in 14 countries and regions, including reaching No. 2 on Apple Music Korea.
With TikTok and Instagram activity continuing to grow just days after release, ANIMAL is showing early signs of becoming one of BOYNEXTDOOR’s strongest short-form hits.
