Hyper Knife, starring Park Eun Bin and Sol Kyung Gu, has reached a major milestone for Disney+ Korea.
According to the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (IATAS), the Disney+ original series has been nominated in the TV Movie/Mini-Series category at the 54th International Emmy Awards.
The nomination makes Hyper Knife the first Korean original series produced for Disney+ to receive an International Emmy nomination, marking a new achievement for the platform’s Korean content.
Hyper Knife is a medical thriller centered on Se Ok, once considered a promising genius doctor, who reunites with her former mentor Deok Hee after their relationship took a dramatic turn.
The series gained attention for the intense conflict between the two characters as well as the performances of Park Eun Bin and Sol Kyung Gu.
The drama also previously showed strong viewership on Disney+. Based on viewing figures from its first seven days after release, Hyper Knife recorded the highest viewership among Korean content released on Disney+ in 2025 across both the global and Asia-Pacific regions.
With its International Emmy nomination, Hyper Knife has now added an international awards milestone to its strong performance on the streaming platform.
