G-Dragon and Daesung showed their playful chemistry during a recent trip to New York, jokingly describing their time together as a “never-ending honeymoon.”
The lighthearted moment was featured in a video uploaded to G-Dragon’s official YouTube channel on September 29, following BIGBANG’s concert in Oakland.
While riding an elevator together, G-Dragon joked, “Today, we’re going on another honeymoon. We’re going on a never-ending honeymoon.”
Daesung laughed and repeated, “A honeymoon that never ends.”
G-Dragon then humorously explained why fellow BIGBANG member Taeyang was not joining their pretend couple trip.
“Since Taeyang has a family,” he said.
Taeyang married actress Min Hyo Rin in 2018, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2021.
Daesung continued the joke by saying, “There’s a story that Young Bae purposely gives us space,” referring to Taeyang by his real name, Dong Young Bae.
After a five-hour flight, G-Dragon and Daesung arrived in New York and spent some free time together the following day. Their playful “honeymoon” joke continued during the outing, including a brief dance while waiting for food at a restaurant.
G-Dragon also showed Daesung his new nail design. When Daesung commented, “Wow, that’s flashy,” G-Dragon joked that Daesung should go home and suggest getting matching nails with his “wife.”
Later, G-Dragon continued the couple-themed humor after sharing a drink with Daesung, joking, “Our channel isn’t a vlog. It’s a wife-log.”
Pointing toward Daesung, he added, “Isn’t he cute? He’s mine.”
The comments were clearly part of the pair’s playful role-play and highlighted their longtime friendship during the break between BIGBANG’s tour activities.
