aespa’s Winter will not participate in the group’s upcoming Dallas concert after being diagnosed with shingles.
SM Entertainment announced through aespa’s official Weverse that Winter will sit out the Dallas performance, as well as the scheduled hi-bye and send-off events.
According to the agency, Winter began feeling unwell before aespa’s Miami concert but still chose to perform with the other members. When her condition did not improve afterward, she visited a hospital for further examination and was diagnosed with shingles.
SM Entertainment explained that Winter had hoped to continue participating in the tour and monitored her condition until shortly before the Dallas show.
However, following medical advice, the company and Winter decided that rest and recovery should come first.
The agency stated, “After careful discussion, we decided that she would not participate in the Dallas concert and would instead take time to rest.”
The Dallas performance and related fan events will therefore proceed with Karina, Giselle, and Ningning.
Winter also expressed disappointment that she would not be able to meet fans in Dallas as planned.
SM Entertainment added that it will focus on helping Winter get enough rest and recover before returning to activities.
