IVE’s Rei is taking on her first solo drama OST since making her debut.
On September 27 at 6 p.m. KST, Rei will release Hello, the first OST for the new Disney+ and Channel A drama Dive Into You, across major music platforms.
The release marks an important milestone for Rei as it is her first time performing a drama OST on her own.
Hello is an emotional song about longing to turn back time and reconnect with someone precious. The track combines a soft piano melody with a sweeping string arrangement designed to complement the drama’s emotional story.
Adding a special touch to the release, Hello will be available simultaneously in both Korean and Japanese. The two versions reflect Dive Into You being a Korea-Japan joint project.
As IVE’s Japanese member, Rei brings her vocals to both versions of the song, allowing listeners in Korea and Japan to experience the OST in their respective languages.
Dive Into You, which premiered on September 26, is a time-slip romance starring Kim Ji Yeon, Park Seo Ham, Jang Se Hyuk, and Moon Seung You. The story follows twin siblings who discover an old camcorder that allows them to travel into the past.
Rei’s Hello will be released in Korean and Japanese on September 27.
