Moon Chae Won shared some straightforward dating advice, saying people should occasionally step back and look at their relationships more objectively.
In a video uploaded to her YouTube channel on September 24, the actress traveled to her hometown of Daegu and reflected on old memories during the trip.
While riding the KTX, the production team mentioned her film Mood of the Day, which follows a romance that begins during a train journey.
Moon Chae Won used the moment to share her own thoughts about dating.
She said, “It can be a problem if you get too swept up in the mood.”
She continued, “Even when we are dating, I think we need to look at the relationship objectively from time to time. Otherwise, we can keep creating our own story in our heads.”
Moon Chae Won then added, “I hope you check the facts once in a while and ask yourself whether you are romanticizing the relationship too much.”
Her comments drew attention for offering a practical view of romance, encouraging people to enjoy their feelings while still keeping a realistic perspective.
Moon Chae Won married her non-celebrity husband in a private ceremony in Seoul in June.
