New Recruit 4: Sabotage is gaining momentum in both ratings and online attention, reaching a new personal best while also climbing near the top of major drama buzz rankings.

Episode 6 of the ENA Monday Tuesday drama recorded a nationwide rating of 4.4%, according to Nielsen Korea’s paid household data. The figure marks the highest rating achieved by the season so far.

The drama also ranked No. 2 in the TV OTT integrated buzz ranking for the first week of September released by Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex. On Naver’s list of most searched dramas, New Recruit 4: Sabotage rose to No. 1, showing strong interest across both viewing and search activity.

The latest episodes have continued to center on the soldiers’ growing teamwork and relationships, while mixing military comedy with more serious conflicts inside and outside the unit.

Kim Min Ho and Lee Won Jung have also drawn attention for portraying the changing relationship between Park Min Seok and Kim Hyun Wook. Their characters recently confronted misunderstandings that had built between them, giving the story a more emotional layer without losing the series’ lighter tone.

Lee Hyun Kyun’s character Byun Hyuk Jin has meanwhile become another key part of the story as his strict leadership begins to reveal a more complicated motivation focused on protecting the unit.

Behind the scenes, the cast’s chemistry has also attracted attention, with newly released photos showing the actors sharing relaxed moments between filming.

The production team teased more unexpected developments ahead, saying, “Please watch to see what unusual solution the soldiers come up with as they face the unprecedented restriction on leave.”

They added, “We also hope viewers will look forward to how their teamwork becomes even stronger as they overcome new incidents together.”

With a new ratings high, a No. 2 buzz ranking, and the top spot among Naver’s most searched dramas, New Recruit 4: Sabotage is showing growing momentum as its latest story continues.
