Han So Hee opened up about her current views on love, relationships, and emotional stability during a recent variety show appearance.
On August 28, the actress appeared on the YouTube variety show No Prepare, where she had a casual conversation with Lee Young Ji about her career, age, and personal outlook on dating.
During the episode, Lee Young Ji pointed out that Han So Hee is approaching her 10th year since debut. Han So Hee reacted with surprise and joked, “I’m already in my 10th year? What am I going to do?” She added with a laugh that she has started noticing small physical changes as she gets older.
The conversation later turned to relationships, with Han So Hee sharing that she is now more attracted to emotionally stable people.
When asked about her ideal type, she said, “These days, I like someone who is emotionally stable.”
She continued, “I’m also trying to become a more stable person myself. I think that if I become stable, I will naturally meet someone who is stable too.”
Han So Hee then explained how she is trying to maintain a stronger sense of self even when a relationship ends.
“If I value myself, even if that person leaves, I still have myself,” she said. “That person came into my life and then left. It does not mean that they abandoned me. I’m trying to think that way.”
The actress also stressed that she does not want romantic relationships to dominate her life.
“I think the moment that person takes up more than half of my life, things start to fall apart,” Han So Hee said. “You have to keep the right balance.”
Her comments drew attention for offering a straightforward look at how her perspective on relationships has changed over time.
Han So Hee debuted in the 2017 SBS drama Reunited Worlds and has since built a successful acting career. She previously confirmed a relationship with actor Ryu Jun Yeol in 2024, but the two ended their relationship shortly afterward.
