Actor Song Kang is drawing attention for his latest appearance as he prepares to return to variety television following his military discharge.
On August 19, tvN’s You Quiz on the Block shared new photos of Song Kang on its official social media account with the caption, “Song Kang’s visuals that even the military hiatus couldn’t affect.”
The photos showed Song Kang meeting host Yoo Jae Suk for the upcoming episode. His appearance quickly attracted attention from fans, with many saying he looked just as youthful as before his enlistment.
Fans shared excited reactions such as, “He’s so handsome,” “I’m so excited to see him on television,” and “He somehow came back even more handsome.”
Song Kang completed his mandatory military service in October 2025. His appearance on You Quiz on the Block will mark his first variety show appearance since returning to civilian life.
The episode featuring Song Kang is scheduled to air on August 26 at 8:45 PM KST.
Song Kang is also preparing to return to acting through tvN’s upcoming drama Four Hands, which premieres on August 29. The drama follows young students at an arts high school as they experience friendship, competition, and personal growth.
Song Kang will play Kang Bio, a talented pianist known for pursuing perfection.
