Yoo In Na and Ha Ji Won reunited for the first time in about 15 years since working together on Secret Garden, and their warm chemistry quickly brought back memories for longtime fans.
On August 19, Ha Ji Won appeared on Yoo In Na’s Yoo In Radio, where the two greeted each other with a hug and immediately began talking like old friends.
Yoo In Na was especially surprised by Ha Ji Won’s appearance and joked, “How can you not have aged at all? It is really amazing.”
Ha Ji Won responded with another compliment, telling her, “You have become even prettier. You were Ah Young in ‘Secret Garden.’”
Yoo In Na then explained why Ha Ji Won remains such a meaningful person in her career. She recalled that Secret Garden was one of her first major drama experiences after High Kick Through the Roof, and said she felt nervous stepping into a more serious acting environment.
She shared, “I had some fear at the time, but you really took care of me and treated me gently, almost like a lost kitten.”
Ha Ji Won also looked back fondly on their time together and said she had always appreciated Yoo In Na’s attitude on set.
She said, “The way you approached the set as an actress was so lovely. I wanted to take even better care of you, but I was sorry that I could not because of my busy schedule.”
Ha Ji Won also praised Yoo In Na beyond her acting, saying, “Of course you act well, but you were also someone with deep insight. I always felt happy whenever I saw you working.”
Touched by the compliment, Yoo In Na jokingly replied, “I like you more than my real older sister,” making both of them laugh.
Their reunion showed that the friendship formed during Secret Garden has remained meaningful even after many years apart.
