BLACKPINK member Lisa has directly addressed fans after concerns and disappointment surrounding the group’s 10th anniversary celebration.

On August 14, Lisa shared a lengthy message through a fan communication platform, acknowledging the discussions that had continued online following BLACKPINK’s anniversary event.

Lisa wrote, “As everyone knows, many things have been said online. The situation makes me very sad, and I’m truly sorry that things turned out this way.”

She also showed understanding toward fans who felt disappointed, adding, “I can’t even imagine how upset you must have been because I felt the same way.”

The issue followed BLACKPINK’s 10th anniversary Meet & Greet event in Seoul on August 8. Some fans expressed frustration over aspects of the event’s preparation, including its late announcement and earlier uncertainty about member attendance.

Lisa said the anniversary was supposed to be a special moment of celebration for BLACKPINK and BLINKs.

She explained that her message was not intended to defend the situation, writing, “I’m not writing this to justify anything or argue my position. I simply want to cherish the love and connection we have shared.”

Lisa ended by thanking fans for their continued support.

“I hope we can continue moving forward while holding on to the love we have shared. I love you, BLINK, and thank you for always staying by our side,” she wrote.

Her message focused on acknowledging fans’ feelings and expressing gratitude as BLACKPINK marked its 10th anniversary.
