Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong are getting closer through a fake romance in tvN’s Spooky in Love.
In episode 7, which aired on August 8, Chun Yeo Ri, played by Park Eun Bin, asked Ma Kang Wook, played by Yang Se Jong, to pretend to be her fiancé after facing pressure from her grandmother to become engaged to Kang Min Hwan, played by Ong Seong Wu.
Since Kang Wook understood Yeo Ri’s situation better than anyone, he agreed to help her. The two then announced their fake engagement in front of their families and Min Hwan.
When people around them questioned whether they were really a couple, Yeo Ri and Kang Wook worked together to make their relationship look believable.
One moment especially caught attention when Kang Wook said, “I like Yeo Ri a lot.” His words sounded convincing enough to leave Yeo Ri unsure whether he was simply acting or expressing his real feelings.
To make their fake relationship more realistic, the pair also spent time together on dates and tried each other’s hobbies.
Yeo Ri joined Kang Wook for a run near the Han River, while Kang Wook tried indoor climbing for the first time because it was something Yeo Ri enjoyed. Their time together allowed them to naturally learn more about each other and created several sweet moments.
Meanwhile, Min Hwan began looking for a way to stop the engagement. He met with people connected to Kang Wook and later warned him, “You won’t be able to attend the engagement ceremony, and then Yeo Ri will get hurt again.”
Cheon Ha Ri, played by Jo Hye Joo, also started following Yeo Ri in an attempt to uncover information that could interfere with the engagement.
As Yeo Ri and Kang Wook continue pretending to be a couple, their fake relationship appears to be bringing them closer for real. At the same time, Min Hwan and Ha Ri’s efforts to stop them are creating new tension.
