SHINee’s Minho surprised the cast of MBC’s I Live Alone after revealing details about his education while talking about his connection with actress Ryu Hye Young.
During the August 7 episode, Ryu Hye Young’s daily life with longtime friend Go Kyung Pyo was featured. While watching the episode, Minho revealed that he and Ryu Hye Young attended university together.
Minho said, “We were classmates in college. We even took classes together.”
Kian84 reacted with surprise and asked, “You went to college? I thought you only graduated from high school.”
Minho quickly responded, “I worked hard and attended. I even graduated from graduate school.”
The other cast members were also surprised by the revelation, joking about how long Minho had continued his studies while maintaining his busy career with SHINee.
Kian84 then asked, “When did you have time to go to school while being in SHINee?”
Minho explained that he attended Konkuk University and arranged his schedule around morning classes.
He said, “I went to Konkuk University. I tried to schedule my classes in the morning, so I would go early and attend them.”
Ryu Hye Young also remembered Minho’s energetic personality during their university days.
She said with a laugh, “Even now, being next to him can drain my energy. He was passionate back then too. He was already full of energy, and he’s still the same now.”
Minho then complimented Ryu Hye Young by saying, “She looks younger now than she did back then.”
Jun Hyun Moo jokingly joined the conversation and replied, “That’s another thing she has in common with me.”
