Singer Young Tak received an unexpected reading about his love and marriage prospects during the latest episode of KBS 2TV’s Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant.
The August 6 broadcast followed actor Ji Seung Hyun as he enjoyed city life and prepared a meal for Young Tak after they finished recording Exhausting Tteokbokki.
After eating, the two contacted a young fortune teller known as Maehwa Doryeong through a video call.
The fortune teller first discussed Ji Seung Hyun’s career and described him as intelligent, responsible, and suited for many areas of entertainment.
He said, “You have the qualities of a general. I also keep seeing a knife in your future, so you may play a character who holds one in an upcoming project.”
Ji Seung Hyun appeared surprised and replied, “One of the roles offered to me is a chef. That is very interesting.”
The fortune teller added, “Your fortune has a chameleon-like quality, so you have the potential to become an all-around entertainer.”
He also discussed Ji Seung Hyun’s finances and claimed that his career opportunities could improve his financial situation, especially around 2028.
Young Tak then quickly shared his date of birth and asked about his own fortune.
The fortune teller told him, “Your marriage luck is very weak. Your dating luck is also weak.”
He continued, “You are married to your work, and your fans are your women. In the end, your fortune is mainly focused on work.”
Young Tak appeared disappointed and briefly looked shocked by the playful reading.
