BTS ranked first in the August 2026 advertising model brand reputation rankings, showing a sharp increase in public interest and online engagement.
According to the Korean Business Research Institute, BTS recorded a total brand reputation index of 3,552,236. This marked a 204.72 percent increase from the group’s July score of 1,165,738.
The ranking was based on 35,009,082 pieces of big data collected from July 6 to August 6. The total amount of data increased by 12.09 percent compared with the previous month.
BTS earned a participation index of 159,512, a media index of 393,045, a communication index of 999,185, and a community index of 2,000,494.
Lim Young Woong placed second with a brand reputation index of 2,141,773, rising 2.45 percent from the previous month.
Yoo Jae Suk followed in third place with an index of 1,629,965. His score increased by 101.62 percent compared with July.
RESCENE ranked fourth with 1,572,383, while IVE completed the top five with 1,479,248. IVE’s score rose by 72.55 percent from its previous index of 857,303.
The top 10 for August were BTS, Lim Young Woong, Yoo Jae Suk, RESCENE, IVE, BLACKPINK, So Ji Sub, Park Ji Hoon, Kim Do Young, and Gong Yoo.
The institute explained that overall brand consumption rose by 17.50 percent, brand issues increased by 8.11 percent, communication grew by 3.65 percent, and brand reach rose by 20.27 percent.
Regarding BTS, the institute stated, “BTS ranked first in the August 2026 advertising model brand reputation analysis.”
It added that the group’s most notable related phrases included “overwhelming,” “boycott,” and “break through,” while the leading keywords were “ARMY,” “Arirang,” and “concert.”
BTS also recorded a positive reaction rate of 93.67 percent.
