Kang Hoon is gaining positive attention for his performance in tvN’s new romantic comedy My Bias, My Boss.

The actor plays Kang Ha Gi, the young CEO of fashion platform Apello. While his character is known for his sharp business skills and confident leadership, he becomes unexpectedly inexperienced and awkward when romance enters his life.

In the premiere, Kang Ha Gi made a strong first impression by taking control of an important business negotiation. However, his carefully managed life began to change after he met Nam Da Reum, played by Kim Hye Joon, again as a new employee at his company.

Although he initially questioned her intentions, a series of unexpected events brought the two characters closer and began setting up their office romance.

The second episode showed more of Kang Ha Gi’s hidden warmth. He continued acting cold toward Nam Da Reum but quickly protected her during a dangerous moment and quietly worried after seeing her walking home in the rain.

The episode ended with the pair sharing an umbrella before suddenly finding themselves standing very close while avoiding a motorcycle, hinting that their relationship may soon begin to change.

Kang Hoon was praised for naturally moving between his character’s cold leadership style and caring personality. His controlled expressions and small changes in his gaze also helped highlight Kang Ha Gi’s softer side.

Viewers responded positively after the broadcast, commenting, *“Kang Hoon is really good at romantic comedies,”* “His change from cold to caring is exciting,” and “His appearance fits the character perfectly.”
