BTS’s V attracted attention from several internationally known artists during the group’s recent concerts in New Jersey.
BTS performed at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on August 1 and 2, welcoming a reported total of 157,000 fans across the two nights.
Jazz musician Jon Batiste attended the concert and shared footage of V appearing on the stadium’s large screen.
He also posted a video of himself dancing to Dynamite and wrote, “I was having so much fun that I almost forgot my phone.”
After V responded to the post with a like and emojis, Batiste replied, “See you again in Boston.”
Musical theater star Lea Salonga also shared a video of V performing FYA.
She wrote, “Thank you for looking at the camera, V! You are truly special!”
When V liked her post, Salonga shared another update and expressed her excitement, writing, “What is happening? Thank you! I am so excited right now that I cannot think clearly.”
V also created a memorable moment with a male fan from Mexico. The fan had reportedly attended several BTS concerts while wearing outfits inspired by V’s stage looks.
During the show, V took off an item he was wearing and gave it to the fan as a gift.
