Jennie reportedly became the first Korean female solo artist to headline Lollapalooza Chicago, delivering a powerful closing performance on one of the festival’s main stages.
On August 1 local time, Jennie closed the Bud Light stage as its final headliner. She joined a major lineup that included Charli XCX, Lorde, and Olivia Dean.
The Bud Light stage has previously welcomed internationally known artists such as Coldplay, The Weeknd, and The Cure. Jennie’s appearance marked another major step in her growing career as a global solo performer.
Her set lasted around one hour and featured approximately 18 songs performed with a live band. She presented newly arranged versions of her popular tracks while keeping the crowd involved throughout the festival finale.
The performance also marked Jennie’s first live stage since releasing her new single, Less than a Lover. She surprised the audience by performing another unreleased song for the first time, raising anticipation for her next music release.
Jennie is expected to continue meeting global audiences through more major festival appearances, including Japan’s Summer Sonic 2026.
