TUIDE, the first girl group from HYBE Music Group’s new label ABD, will officially debut on August 24 at 6 p.m. KST.

The seven-member group will release its first mini album, TUNE & PLAY, as it begins promotions in Korea and the global music market.

According to ABD, the album title represents the idea of tuning different musical languages into one rhythm and turning them into something enjoyable.

The label described the album as “TUIDE’s ambition to create a new global trend with music that crosses the boundaries of generations, cultures, and languages.”

The members are Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea, and Lee Ha Nee. Seoyeon has gained early attention as the younger sister of TWICE member Jihyo.

All seven members were born between 2006 and 2011. The group includes members with cultural backgrounds connected to South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan.

TUIDE also released introduction photos and a video titled Introductions: WE TUIDE. The video features Korean, English, Japanese, and French over a minimal beat, highlighting the group’s multicultural identity.

Before announcing its official debut, TUIDE held a preview event titled PLAYGROUND at Layer Studio 11 in Seoul on August 1 and 2.

Although the audience received little information about the group before the event, TUIDE introduced five songs through live performances. The members reportedly gained attention from industry guests for their prepared vocals and stage performance.

With a multinational lineup, a multilingual concept, and early attention surrounding Jihyo’s younger sister Seoyeon, TUIDE is now preparing to make its official entrance with TUNE & PLAY.
