Kim Jae Won received the Best New Actor award at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards for his performance in Yumi’s Cells Season 3.
The ceremony was held on July 31 at Paradise City in Incheon. Other nominees in the category included Kim Jin Wook for Low Life, Baek Sun Ho for Girigo, Song Geon Hee for The Scarecrow, and Lee Hong Nae for The Legend of Kitchen Soldier.
During his acceptance speech, Kim Jae Won thanked the organizers for giving him the meaningful honor.
He said, “Thank you for giving me this precious award.”
The actor then expressed his appreciation for co-star Kim Go Eun, explaining that he learned a great deal from her while filming the drama.
