Former DIA member and actress Kwon Chae Won opened up about her challenges and career journey in the preview for KBS Joy variety show Ask Us Anything.
At the end of the July 27 broadcast, a preview featuring Kwon Chae Won was revealed. In the clip, she introduced herself by sharing, "I am a former idol. I was a member of the group DIA."
Kwon Chae Won debuted as Eun Chae of DIA in 2016. After appearing on SBS audition program Universe Ticket in 2023, she continued her activities under her real name, Kwon Eun Chae, before expanding her career into acting.
During her appearance, Kwon Chae Won talked about the difficulties she experienced throughout her career.
"I have always been in an unclear position wherever I went," she shared, expressing her struggles with finding her place in the entertainment industry.
She also revealed her plans to challenge herself in a new field, saying, "I will try to show you what I can really do by challenging myself in a musical in August."
When hosts Seo Jang Hoon and Lee Soo Geun asked about her singing skills, Kwon Chae Won surprised them with her strong vocals.
Kwon Chae Won's appearance on Ask Us Anything will air on August 3 at 8 PM.
