BTS member Jimin is making headlines after the custom shirt he wore during the FIFA World Cup final halftime show attracted intense bidding at a global charity auction.
The shirt is being auctioned as part of Christie's ONE GOAL charity auction, held in partnership with Global Citizen to support efforts to end extreme poverty while commemorating the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Less than 24 hours after bidding opened, Jimin's custom performance shirt had already reached a bid of 15,000 dollars, far exceeding its estimated maximum value of 5,000 dollars.
According to the auction's current bidding results, Jimin's shirt has attracted a higher bid than Lionel Messi's signed jersey and is among the top-valued items, competing with the official FIFA World Cup final match ball. The auction also features signed national team jerseys, official match-used footballs, and memorabilia from the halftime show.
Jimin wore the specially made shirt while performing BTS' hit song Dynamite during the FIFA World Cup final halftime show. British fashion brand AGRO Studio, which created the outfit, previously shared photos of the design on social media, describing it as a custom piece made specifically for Jimin's World Cup performance.
Following the performance, similar shirts, shorts, and hoodies inspired by Jimin's outfit appeared across various online shopping platforms. AGRO Studio co-director and fashion designer George Oxsby later warned fans about counterfeit products by sharing screenshots of imitation websites and labeling them as "Counterfeit."
More recently, Oxsby also shared updates highlighting the strong bidding competition for Jimin's custom shirt, as interest in the one-of-a-kind performance outfit continues to grow among collectors and fans.
