BLACKPINK’s Lisa reportedly generated an estimated £9 million, or approximately 17.7 billion won, through her activities connected to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
On July 21, British newspaper The Sun cited brand and culture expert Nick Ede, who estimated Lisa’s earnings based on her opening performance and global sponsorship agreements during the tournament.
Lisa joined Brazilian singer Anitta and Nigerian artist Rema for a celebratory performance connected to the World Cup opening match. She appeared at LA Stadium before the Group D match between the United States and Paraguay on June 13.
According to the report, Lisa ranked third among the musicians who participated in the World Cup, following Shakira, who was estimated to have earned £15 million, and Justin Bieber, whose estimated earnings reached £12 million.
When celebrities from other fields were included, Lisa reportedly placed fifth overall. Former football star David Beckham ranked higher with an estimated £19 million, while actor Timothée Chalamet was listed at £12 million.
Ede said Lisa’s appearance also helped connect the global football event with BLACKPINK’s large international fanbase.
He stated, “Lisa and BLACKPINK brought some of the world’s most loyal fans directly to the World Cup. It gave her an opportunity to further expand her global recognition and introduce herself to sports fans as well.”
He added, “As a result, Lisa once again demonstrated her commercial value to international brands.”
