Girls’ Generation member and actress Yoona is drawing attention for her special appearance in Netflix’s “Husbands in Action”.
On July 1, SM Entertainment shared behind the scenes photos of Yoona on the film set and confirmed her cameo.
The agency said, “Actress Yoona made a special appearance in Netflix’s ‘Husbands in Action’ because of her connection with actor Jin Sun Kyu”.
SM Entertainment also added, “Check out actress Yoong in the movie ‘Husbands in Action’ on Netflix”.
In the released photos, Yoona is seen posing with Jin Sun Kyu at the filming site. The two previously worked together in the movie “Confidential Assignment 2: International”, and her appearance in “Husbands in Action” is being seen as a show of support and loyalty.
“Husbands in Action” is a comedy action film about an ex husband and a current husband who unexpectedly team up for a rescue mission after a wife is kidnapped by a criminal organization.
Yoona makes a brief surprise appearance near the end of the film, adding another fun moment for viewers.
The movie is also performing well globally. In its 2nd week after release, “Husbands in Action” ranked No. 1 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non English Films chart.
