BTS’s Jungkook has reached another major milestone with his solo debut track “Seven.”

The song has officially surpassed 3 billion total streams on Spotify, reaching the mark 1,073 days after its release.

According to World Music Awards, “Seven” is now the most streamed song by an Asian artist in Spotify history. Pop Core also described it as the first and only song by an Asian artist to reach 3 billion streams on the platform.

As of June 23, “Seven” ranked No. 64 among Spotify’s most streamed songs and continued to record around 1.8 million daily streams. The song has also remained on Spotify’s “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart for 153 weeks, setting the first and longest record for a song by an Asian solo artist.

“Seven” previously topped Spotify’s “Daily Top Songs Global” chart for a total of 71 days, the first time a song by an Asian artist achieved the record. It also ranked No. 1 on Spotify’s “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart for 9 weeks, the longest run for a male artist’s song worldwide in 2023.

The track also made a strong impact on Billboard. It debuted at No. 1 on the “Hot 100” and stayed on the chart for 15 weeks. It also became the first song by an Asian artist to top both “Global Excl. U.S.” and “Global 200” at the same time for 7 consecutive weeks.

Jungkook also entered the Guinness World Records with “Seven,” setting 4 world records, including the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify before filtering and the highest weekly streams for a male artist track worldwide with 89,748,171 streams after filtering.

His first solo album “GOLDEN” has also stayed on Spotify’s “Weekly Top Albums Global” chart for 137 weeks, while the “Seven” music video on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel has surpassed 619 million views.
