Kang Ha Kyung shared his heartfelt thoughts after wrapping up TVING’s “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier”.
In the drama, Kang Ha Kyung played Kim Gwan Cheol, a soldier who showed both a tough attitude and a warm heart.
In the final episodes, Kim Gwan Cheol’s story came to a meaningful close as he was promoted to sergeant and showed his growth through teamwork, comedy, and emotional moments.
During the military cooking competition storyline, Kim Gwan Cheol first reacted coldly to the situation, saying, “Can’t you hear the sound of the guard post closing? What kind of competition are we doing in this situation?”
However, he later joined Kang Sung Jae, played by Park Ji Hoon, and Yoon Dong Hyun, played by Lee Hong Nae, with full effort.
Kim Gwan Cheol also encouraged his team during a tense moment, saying, “Let’s not be scared. When we come together, we are not bad either.” His scenes with Yoon Dong Hyun also brought laughter as their “Tom and Jerry” style chemistry continued until the end.
After the drama ended, Kang Ha Kyung expressed his gratitude to viewers. He said, “This is the first project and character that received love from many people, so I think I will never forget it for the rest of my life.”
