I.O.I member Chungha honestly opened up about a health concern during the latest episode of MBC’s “The Manager”.
On the June 13 broadcast, I.O.I members were shown preparing for their 10th anniversary concert. After finishing rehearsal, the members received makeup before going on stage.
While getting ready, Chungha appeared nervous and said, “I will not make a mistake, right?” She then revealed, “My optic nerve is not good.”
Chungha explained, “They say my optic nerve is a little bad. They said my reaction is slow and that I absorb a lot of light.” After hearing this, Song Eun Yi showed concern and said, “That must be tiring.”
Chungha shared that the condition sometimes causes misunderstandings, saying, “Sometimes I frown without realizing it. Because of that, people misunderstand me.”
Although Chungha looked worried before the performance and told herself, “Please, stay focused,” she later showed her professional side on stage and successfully completed the performance with the I.O.I members.
