BTS member V is joining Coca Cola to celebrate the 2026 FIFA World Cup North America with a new global campaign.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup North America will kick off with the opening ceremony in Mexico at 2:30 AM on June 12, Korean time, and run for 39 days.

The tournament will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and will feature 48 teams, making it the largest World Cup in history.

Coca Cola has a long history with the World Cup, starting in 1930 by providing drinks to spectators at the first tournament in Uruguay. The company officially partnered with FIFA in 1976 and has been a sponsor since 1978.

V’s campaign with Coca Cola is airing in 10 countries, including South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Macau, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Major city landmarks in each country are also featuring the ads, spreading the excitement of the World Cup worldwide.
