Netflix’s “Teach You a Lesson” is proving its global popularity after quickly rising to the top of the platform’s worldwide rankings.

The series, which was released on June 5, recorded 6.4 million views in just 3 days and ranked No. 1 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non English Shows chart in its first week.

Teach You a Lesson” follows the Teacher Rights Protection Bureau, a fictional group that stands with victims and works to fix problems inside schools.

The drama has gained attention for its fast paced story, satisfying moments, and strong character chemistry.

The series also ranked No. 1 in 10 countries, including South Korea, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. It also entered the Top 10 list in 48 countries overall.

International media have also shared positive reviews. Forbes described the series as “one of the smartest, most well made, and addictive satisfying works released this year,” saying it gives viewers catharsis by showing victims’ voices and a search for justice.

Decider also praised the drama for sending a message about a broken education system while still being entertaining.

Excelsior added that the Korean drama has arrived with a strong impact for global viewers.
