Actor Heo Nam Jun opened up about his thoughts on marriage and his future during a recent YouTube appearance.
On June 10, Heo Nam Jun appeared in a video on the YouTube channel Ha Ji Young, where he talked about his career, ambition, dating, and marriage in a casual and honest conversation.
During the interview, Ha Ji Young asked whether he has big or small ambitions. Heo Nam Jun answered, “If it is an ambition I think I can achieve, then it is very big”.
He explained that he is willing to challenge himself when he believes something is possible, but he does not usually take risks on things he thinks are unlikely to happen.
He also shared the type of project he wants to try next. Heo Nam Jun said he enjoyed the drama “IRIS” because it had “a little romance and action”.
He added, “Since I tried romantic comedy this time, I want to try a deep and emotional romance in my next project”.
The topic then moved to his life 10 years from now. When asked what he imagines for his future, Heo Nam Jun gave an unexpected answer.
He said, “In 10 years, I definitely need to have a family. I think I want to get married early. I imagine that. Of course, it will be very hard”.
Ha Ji Young was surprised by his answer, saying she thought he would still be fully focused on work because of how much he values acting. Heo Nam Jun then replied, “I am more family oriented than people think”.
His honest answer drew attention as fans saw a softer and more personal side of the 33 year old actor.
