IVE member An Yujin is lending her voice to the OST of TVING’s original drama “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier”.
An Yujin will release OST Part 3, titled “Sad Salty Taste,” on June 2 at 6 PM through various online music platforms.
The track is described as a synth pop song with a strong rock sound, bright synthesizers, and An Yujin’s clear yet powerful vocals.
“Sad Salty Taste” carries a message of standing back up even during painful moments. The song compares tears running down the cheeks to a “sad salty taste,” while expressing the will to keep going without giving up.
The track is expected to give comfort and energy to young people trying to find their own path in a difficult military setting, matching the story and mood of “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier.”
An Yujin’s clean and strong voice is said to work well with the hopeful melody, adding more emotion to the drama’s OST lineup.
Her song follows Kangnam’s “Beginning of the Legend” and Migak Boys’ “My Flavor,” further strengthening the soundtrack for the series.
“The Legend of Kitchen Soldier,” based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name, airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM on both TVING and tvN.
