tvN’s weekend drama “Filing for Love” is heading into its finale with strong ratings and rising tension.
Episode 11, which aired on May 30, recorded an average rating of 8.5% and a peak of 10.6% in the Seoul metropolitan area. Nationwide, the episode recorded an average rating of 7.6% and a peak of 9.3%, ranking No. 1 among all channels, including public broadcast channels.
The drama also continued its strong performance among viewers aged 20 to 49, taking No. 1 in its time slot for 6 straight weeks in both the Seoul metropolitan area and nationwide.
The episode followed Joo In Ah, played by Shin Hye Sun, and Noh Ki Joon, played by Gong Myung, as they faced a public controversy and tried to protect each other. Jeon Jae Yeol, played by Kim Jae Wook, also joined them as they prepared to fight back against Jeon Seong Yeol.
During the crisis, Noh Ki Joon showed his feelings for Joo In Ah and said, “I really like her. Because she is a very good person.” He also made it clear that he would stay by her side, saying, “I know very well what kind of person she is, and I will protect her until the end.”
Joo In Ah later made a difficult choice to protect Noh Ki Joon from further trouble. Before facing the press, she told him, “No matter what I say from now on, it means I love you.” Her words showed both her love and her determination to take responsibility.
The romance also became stronger as Joo In Ah told Noh Ki Joon, “You are the lucky variable I never planned or expected.” The line gave viewers an emotional moment as the couple continued to support each other during a difficult time.
With only one episode left, “Filing for Love” is building attention for its final battle. Shin Hye Sun, Gong Myung, and Kim Jae Wook’s characters are now standing together, raising curiosity over whether their counterattack will succeed in the finale.
