Byeon Woo Seok is already proving his strong popularity in variety shows.
According to Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex ranking for the third week of May, Byeon Woo Seok ranked No. 1 in the TV OTT integrated non drama cast member buzz chart for his appearance in Netflix’s upcoming show “Jae-seok's B&B Rules!”
What makes the result more impressive is that the show has not even been released yet. Byeon Woo Seok, who recently gained attention through the MBC drama “Perfect Crown”, is now also leading strong public interest in non drama content.
Other cast members of “Jae-seok's B&B Rules!” also entered the rankings. Lee Kwang Soo placed No. 3, while Ji Ye Eun ranked No. 8, showing that the show’s cast is already receiving major attention before its premiere.
Lee Soo Ji of “SNL Korea Season 8” ranked No. 2. She has shown consistent popularity by entering the Top 5 seven times during the show’s 9 week release period. Her fellow cast members also ranked high, with Kim Kyu Won at No. 4, Kim Won Hoon at No. 6, and Jung Soo Jung at No. 9.
Gong Seung Yeon, who appeared as a guest on “You Quiz on the Block”, ranked No. 5. Her appearance helped the program place a guest in the Top 5 for the first time in 12 weeks since Park Ji Hoon.
Kangnam of “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator since 2014” ranked No. 7, while Song Ji Eun of “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny” ranked No. 10.
For overall TV OTT non drama buzz, “SNL Korea Season 8” took No. 1. The program has now ranked first six times during its current season. “I Am SOLO” placed No. 2, followed by “You Quiz on the Block” at No. 3, “Jae-seok's B&B Rules!” at No. 4, and “Kill It: Style Creator War” at No. 5.
The ranking was based on TV and OTT non drama programs that aired, were released, or were scheduled from May 18 to May 24, 2026.
