After closing time, Kang Sung Jae tells him, “I want to learn from you”. The restaurant owner asks, “Can you really do anything?” before accepting him as his student. This begins their funny and memorable “tteokbokki teacher and student relationship.”

Jin Goo’s character teaches Kang Sung Jae with strict “Marine Corps spirit”, including onion cutting and frying lessons. His intense training style brings humor to the story, while his warm side is later shown when he shares his secret ingredient, “ripe persimmon.”

With his strong presence and veteran acting, Jin Goo added fresh energy to the drama. He moved naturally between serious acting and comedy, making his special appearance stand out.

Jin Goo is also preparing for his return in JTBC’s new Saturday Sunday drama “Reborn Rookie", which is set to premiere on May 30. In the drama, he will play Kang Jae Sung, the president of Choi Sung Trading, who gets involved in a fierce fight for the successor title of Choi Sung Group.

After previously helping “Descendants of the Sun” reach a highest viewership rating of 38.8%, many viewers are looking forward to Jin Goo’s next performance.
