Epik High looked back on their early career and openly criticized their old contract with Woollim Entertainment.
On May 21, Epik High uploaded a new video titled “Digging up Epik High’s secret warehouse” on their YouTube channel.
In the video, Tablo, Mithra, and Tukutz opened a container warehouse filled with items they had kept after leaving YG Entertainment about 10 years ago. Among the many old memories and rare items, one thing quickly caught their attention: the exclusive contract they signed around the time of their debut.

Tukutz found the paper first and asked, “What exactly is this?” He then realized it was their old exclusive contract and said in surprise, “It is an exclusive contract.”
Tablo also reacted strongly after seeing the document. He said, “Oh my God. This is crazy. Woollim, our former agency.”
He then pointed out the date, saying, “September 23, 2003,” before expressing frustration over the contract.

Tablo claimed, “I made ‘Fly,’ but I did not receive even one penny.” He continued, “Because of this damn contract, we did not receive even one penny from the music source revenue.”
He also recalled being scolded over food, adding, “But they still got so angry just because we were eating shrimp.”
Tukutz was surprised that he had kept the document for so long and said, “I had this with me. This is amazing.” Tablo then joked that the contract was something they should hang up somewhere.
Epik High debuted in October 2003 under Woollim Entertainment with their first full album, “Map of the Human Soul.”
