The Boyz’s Younghoon briefly reacted to a question about his agency situation during the press conference for “King of Survival Season 2”.

On May 20, the press event for TV Chosun’s “King of Survival Season 2” was held in Seoul. Kim Jong Kook, Kim Byung Man, Yook Jun Seo, Younghoon, and the production team attended the event.

During the press conference, a reporter asked Younghoon about the recent issue involving his agency One Hundred. Younghoon appeared uncomfortable and responded, “Are you going to talk about that too?”

The host then stepped in and said, “Today, we are here to talk about ‘King of Survival Season 2’. We ask for your understanding regarding agency related matters”.

However, Younghoon later opened up about how the situation affected him. He said, “Because there are many issues with my company, I felt very lost and frustrated”.

He also shared that he had many worries, including, “Will I be able to continue working well from now on?” and “Will I be able to meet my fans?”

Younghoon explained that he decided to join “King of Survival Season 2” because he saw it as a chance to show more of himself.

He said, “I thought it would be a chance to show my personal side and my own face, so I decided to appear”. He also thanked the production team for giving him the opportunity during a difficult time.

The Boyz are currently in conflict with One Hundred. In February, nine members, excluding New, reportedly notified the agency through their legal representative that they were terminating their exclusive contracts.

MC Mong also recently spoke about the contract payment made during the recruitment process and criticized the situation, saying, “They have to return 8 billion KRW. They are troublesome”.

Meanwhile, “King of Survival Season 2” is the global version of TV Chosun’s survival program “King of Survival”.

The show will feature survival challenges in different extreme settings, including a jungle, a desert, and an unpredictable city.
