Kang Mina opened up about her relationship with the I.O.I members after it was confirmed that she would not be joining the group’s 10th anniversary reunion.
In a recent interview for the Netflix series 'If Wishes Could Kill', Kang Mina spoke honestly about keeping in touch with the members.
Although she showed regret over not being part of the reunion, she explained that everyone has been busy with their own schedules.
She said, “The members are all so busy. Since everyone is handling their schedules, I have not contacted them separately.”
However, Kang Mina made it clear that there is no issue between them. She shared that they still support each other in simple ways through social media.
She explained, “When someone posts on Instagram, we leave comments. When someone uploads a Reel, we leave likes or comments. Through that, we know how much we are supporting each other.”
Kang Mina also talked about how her experience as an idol has helped her current work as an actress. She said her time on stage made her feel less nervous when doing promotions or appearing on variety shows.
She shared, “The experience of being on stage helps me feel less nervous during promotions or variety filming, more than on acting sets.” She added, “Actors get very nervous too, but now I think I feel less nervous than before.”
Kang Mina currently stars in Netflix’s 'If Wishes Could Kill', a young adult horror series about high school students who try to escape a curse connected to a wish-granting app.
In the drama, she plays Im Na Ri, a wealthy student who receives attention everywhere because of her eye-catching beauty.
