Former The Boyz member Ju Hak Nyeon is drawing attention after he appeared to attend the group’s recent concert.
On April 26, Ju Hak Nyeon uploaded a photo to his social media without any caption. The picture showed the stage of The Boyz’s concert, ‘Interjection’, which was held for three days from April 24 to 26 at KSPO Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
The photo appeared to be taken from the audience area and showed the members performing on stage.
After the post, sightings also spread on social media and online communities, with some people saying Ju Hak Nyeon was seen at the venue to watch the concert. He was reportedly covering his face with items such as a hat while watching the show.
Ju Hak Nyeon left The Boyz after a personal controversy last year. At the time, reports said he had a private meeting with former adult film actress Asuka Kirara.
The Boyz’s agency, One Hundred, said it “took the seriousness of the matter heavily” and announced the end of his exclusive contract on June 18.
Later, additional allegations were raised, but Ju Hak Nyeon admitted only to the private meeting and strongly denied the other claims.
Police later decided not to forward the case, saying there were not enough specific reasons or circumstances to begin an investigation.
