I.O.I has officially kicked off the next stage of their long awaited comeback, and excitement is quickly building as the group prepares for a special return in May.

According to reports, I.O.I recently completed both their jacket photo shoot and music video filming, signaling that preparations for their comeback are now moving forward in full.

The participating members for this return are Lim Na Young, Chungha, Kim Sejeong, Jung Chae Yeon, Kim So Hye, Yoo Yeon Jung, Choi Yoo Jung, Kim Do Yeon, and Jeon So Mi.

The group reportedly filmed while taking on a variety of concepts, and despite their long break, the members are said to have shown natural chemistry and smooth teamwork throughout the shoot. Their comfortable dynamic and bright atmosphere on set are already raising expectations for what kind of comeback they will deliver.

This return is drawing even more attention because it comes during I.O.I’s 10th debut anniversary, making it an especially meaningful moment for both the members and longtime fans who have waited years to see them together again.

The group is also adding to the excitement with the upcoming ‘2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP’, which will begin with three Seoul concerts at Jamsil Indoor Stadium on May 29, 30, and 31 before continuing to major Asian cities including Bangkok and Hong Kong.

The title “LOOP” is also getting attention for its emotional meaning, as it symbolizes connection and continuation, suggesting that a story many fans thought had already ended is now beginning again in a new way.

However, not every member will be part of this comeback.

It was confirmed that Kang Mina and Zhou Jieqiong will not participate in this round of promotions due to previously scheduled activities.

Even so, with the music video already filmed, a May comeback officially in motion, and a major anniversary tour on the way, I.O.I’s long awaited return is finally starting to feel very real.
