Actor Ji Sung is receiving strong praise as MBC’s Friday Saturday drama The Judge Returns continues its impressive rise in viewership.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 8, which aired on the 24th, recorded 10.8% nationwide ratings and 10.8% in the metropolitan area, firmly securing No. 1 among all Friday Saturday dramas. The drama once again showed its strong public appeal and steady growth.
Viewers were especially drawn to the intense ending. A key final scene, where Ji Sung’s character Lee Han Young delivers the line, “This is the only chance to hunt Baek Yi Seok, the white tiger of the judiciary,” pushed the drama’s peak rating to 13.9% nationwide, proving just how much attention the episode received.
The drama also ranked No. 1 among all Saturday programs in the important 20–54 age group, recording 3.9%, a key indicator of channel competitiveness. This result highlights The Judge Returns as one of the strongest performers in its time slot.
