Jungkook of BTS is once again proving his massive global power as his solo debut song Seven continues to break records on Billboard.

According to Billboard’s January 17 chart update, “Seven” ranked No. 145 on the Global 200, marking its 128th consecutive week on the chart.

This is the first and longest run ever for any Asian artist, whether solo or group.

On the same update, “Seven” also climbed 11 spots to No. 79 on the Global (excluding the US) chart.

With this, Jungkook became the first Asian solo artist to remain on the chart for 130 consecutive weeks, setting yet another all time record.

The song continues to show strength across multiple rankings. “Seven” re entered Billboard Korea’s Hot 100 at No. 96, while also ranking No. 16 on the Global K Songs chart.

Jungkook placed three songs at once on the Global K Songs chart, with “Standing Next To You” at No. 54 and “3D” at No. 64.

In addition, “Seven” ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Vietnam Hot 100, showing strong influence in local markets as well.

Previously, “Seven” achieved No. 1 for nine weeks on the Global (excluding the US) chart and seven weeks on the Global 200.

It became the first Asian artist song to top both charts at the same time for seven consecutive weeks, a record that still stands.

The song also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and stayed on the chart for 15 weeks.

In the UK, it entered the Official Singles Top 100 at No. 3 and remained on the chart for 14 straight weeks, another first for a K pop solo artist.

On Spotify, “Seven” has stayed on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart for 130 weeks and has surpassed 2.73 billion streams, becoming the first song by an Asian artist to reach this milestone.

With nonstop charting, record breaking longevity, and multiple first ever achievements, Jungkook continues to strengthen his position as one of the most powerful solo artists on the global music stage.
