
tvN’s weekend drama ‘Pro Bono’ is gaining strong attention as its ratings continue to climb, putting it close to the double digit mark.
According to Nielsen Korea (paid platform nationwide household ratings), Episode 4, which aired on the 14th, recorded an average 8.1% rating in the Seoul metropolitan area with a peak of 9.4%. Nationwide, the episode achieved an average of 8% and a peak of 9.2%, setting a new personal best for the series.
With these numbers, Pro Bono currently holds the third highest ratings among tvN weekend dramas in 2025, following ‘Bon Appétit, Your Majesty’ and ‘Typhoon Family’, showing its strong momentum and growing popularity.



The drama stars Jung Kyung Ho, who plays a former judge turned public interest lawyer, and has been praised for blending social themes with an easy to follow and warm tone. Viewers have responded positively, saying the story feels meaningful without being too heavy.
Director Kim Seong Yun, known for hit works like Itaewon Class and The Sound of Magic, is taking on a courtroom drama for the first time. He shared that the production team worked carefully on details and tension to make each scene feel real and engaging.


The chemistry between Jung Kyung Ho and So Ju Yeon has also been highlighted as a major strength of the show, helping keep viewers invested week after week.
Audience reactions include comments such as, “The acting is amazing,” “I’m really enjoying this drama,” and “It’s both touching and entertaining.”
