On the November 18 episode of Great Guide 2.5 – Daedanhan Guide, Jeon So Min chatted with Kim Dae Ho, Choi Daniel, and Hyojung while traveling through Yanji. During the ride, she casually mentioned that she has actually written lyrics before.
Jeon So Min said, “I get royalties. For writing lyrics. I didn’t write many songs, but I have one or two. It comes in like coffee money,” making everyone laugh. She previously wrote the lyrics for Lee Ki Chan’s One Room and Jung In’s Witness.
Hyojung then jokingly asked her to write a song for Oh My Girl. Jeon So Min instantly replied with an idea, saying, “It would be nice if it starts with ‘Oh My’.”
But Hyojung said the group already has a song like that. Jeon So Min then suggested, “If not dolphin, how about shark?” only for Hyojung to laugh again and say, “We have a shark song too.”
Hyojung couldn’t hide her admiration and said, “Unnie gets everything right. She’s a genius. The way she connects things.” Jeon So Min kept the ideas flowing, joking about going for a full “sea theme,” while Choi Daniel added to the fun by throwing out random ideas like “How about a fishing net?”
Hyojung wrapped it up with positive energy, saying, “If we keep going like this, a good song will come out.”
Jeon So Min’s playful creativity and humble “coffee money” royalty story continue to win hearts all over again.
