A Japanese woman in her 50s who suddenly kissed BTS Jin during an official event is now facing legal action, but her recent explanation is creating even more shock.
According to reports, the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors’ Office officially charged the woman, known as A, on November 12 for forced harassment, though she was indicted without detention.
The case comes from an incident last June, when Jin held a hugging event for 1,000 fans at Jamsil Indoor Stadium after completing his military service. During the event, A reportedly moved in and kissed Jin on the cheek without permission.
TBS News revealed that during questioning, A insisted, “I feel wronged. I did not know this would be a crime”, surprising many with her statement.
The controversy grew even bigger when it was discovered that she wrote on her personal blog after the event, saying, “His skin was very soft,” which added to public anger.
The case continues to draw strong attention as fans express concern over idol safety and event security.
