LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin opened up about her recent eyebrow bleaching and the reactions it received from fans.
On November 11, Yunjin appeared on the web variety show Salon Drip alongside fellow member Kazuha. The group is preparing for promotions of their new song ‘SPAGHETTI’, and Yunjin caught attention with her bold bleached eyebrows.
When asked about how people reacted, Yunjin laughed, saying, “People said, ‘Give Yunjin her eyebrows back,’ or ‘Where did your eyebrows go?’ Without them, I look like a bald eagle.” Comedian Jang Do Yeon also joked, “When I saw her, I almost asked, ‘Did someone sneeze with curry powder on their face?’ if she were my friend.”
Yunjin explained why she chose the dramatic change: “This time we all tried bold transformations. Kazuha cut her hair mid-length for the first time since debut. Everyone looked so flashy that I wondered, ‘What should I do?’ I realized I couldn’t change my hair anymore, so I decided to bleach my eyebrows.”
She added that she enjoys experimenting with her look: “I like trying new things that might seem a little strange. Since our fans, PYEONA, say I should bring my eyebrows back, I’ll do that sometimes.”
