Actress Han So Hee is once again caught in a social media storm — this time over a single Instagram “like” that sparked unexpected political controversy.
On October 6, Han So Hee found herself at the center of debate after she liked a post made by Lee Jun Seok, leader of the Reform Party, who uploaded a handwritten apology letter from a person who had defamed him.
Her simple “heart” quickly went viral, with many netizens interpreting it as a sign of political support.

As screenshots spread across online communities, backlash grew. By the afternoon of October 7, Han So Hee removed her “like,” and her agency 9Ato Entertainment stepped in to clarify the situation, saying, “She pressed it by mistake. There was no political intention or opinion involved.”
While some defended her, saying it was “just an accident,” others commented that it was “not surprising,” pointing out her long history of social media missteps.
This isn’t the first time Han So Hee’s SNS activity has caused controversy. Last year, she publicly clashed with actress Hyeri over issues involving actor Ryu Jun Yeol, leading to intense public backlash and ultimately a breakup just 15 days after she and Ryu Jun Yeol went public as a couple.
Despite her apology at the time, Han So Hee’s social media habits continue to stir trouble — making her once again a living reminder of the saying: “SNS is a waste of life.”
