Jeon Yeo Bin has been honored with the Best Actress award for her powerful performance in The Black Nuns.

At the 45th Golden Cinematography Awards held on October 2 in Seoul, Jeon Yeo Bin took home the top prize in the Best Actress category.

In the film, she played Michaela, a psychiatry resident nun who struggles with shaken beliefs while facing dark forces, delivering an emotional performance that impressed audiences and critics alike.

In her acceptance speech, Jeon Yeo Bin reflected, “Since the Golden Cinematography Awards is given by cinematographers, it made me think.

In life, how many times have we really looked deeply into someone’s face? Maybe it’s when we look at someone we truly love, a friend we rely on, or family we would give our life for.”

She added, “While filming, the person who looks at my face most closely and deeply is the cinematographer. I want to share this gratitude with all the staff and actors who created The Black Nuns together. I will really work hard to become a good actor.”
