Jun Ji Hyun had fans laughing as she revealed her playful chemistry with co-star Kang Dong Won during a recent interview.
On September 18, Taiwanese outlet ET Today shared a video interview with the cast of Disney+ original series Tempest, including Jun Ji Hyun, Kang Dong Won, Lee Mi Sook, and Oh Jung Se.
In the interview, Jun Ji Hyun joked about Kang Dong Won’s age, saying, “He’s my oppa. To be precise, our birthdays are 10 months apart,” reminding many fans of her sassy character Cheon Song Yi from My Love From the Star.
She went on to gush about her co-star, saying, “It’s rare to meet an actor who’s the same age in this industry, so I felt reassured. I already liked him a lot, and while working together, I admired his personality even more. Filming with him was really enjoyable.”
The actress also added with a laugh, “He’s perfect. Even though it’s acting, in the drama he takes care of me, so it felt great. I went home and bragged about him every day.”
Her lighthearted confession instantly drew attention, with fans commenting that Jun Ji Hyun was showing her true “Cheon Song Yi” side once again.
