'Love Next Door' actor Yoon Ji On steps down from new drama after drunk driving case, agency contract also confirmed to have ended

Actor Yoon Ji On, known for his role in “Love Next Door”, is stepping away from his upcoming drama following a drunk driving incident.

On September 17, his former agency IEUM Hashtag confirmed, “It is true that Yoon Ji On is leaving Channel A’s new drama ‘I Have a Baby’ because of drunk driving.”

They also revealed, “Yoon Ji On’s exclusive contract with IEUM Hashtag already ended on July 6, and we decided not to renew it.” The agency explained they had only been helping him temporarily as he searched for a new company.

Yoon Ji On made his debut in 2013 through theater and later gained attention with roles in “Be Melodramatic,” “Monthly Magazine Home,” “You Are My Spring,” “Jirisan,” and “Love Next Door.”

The upcoming drama “I Have a Baby” tells the story of two people who swore they would never marry but end up facing unexpected events after a one-night mistake.

The series stars Choi Jin Hyuk and Oh Yeon Seo, and filming is already more than halfway finished.
