Park Min Young’s new drama Confidence Queen is already facing challenges, as its broadcast schedule has been changed just four episodes in.
On September 15, TV CHOSUN officially announced, “The broadcast time for ‘Confidence Queen’ has been changed from Saturdays and Sundays at 9:10 PM to 10:30 PM. Please take note when watching.”
The sudden shift comes after disappointing numbers. The drama premiered on September 6 with a 1.1% rating but dropped to 0.9% by episode 4, marking its lowest so far.
The competition has been tough, as tvN’s Bon Appétit, Your Majesty continues to dominate the same time slot, recently hitting its highest rating of 15.4%. Unable to keep up with the buzz, Confidence Queen made the decision to move to a later time slot.
Meanwhile, Confidence Queen tells the story of three con artists with extraordinary skills who set out to take revenge on villains of the era, starring Park Min Young, Park Hee Soon, and Joo Jong Hyuk.
